How it all began
Danilo Amaral started his career in flooring when he was just 22, working alongside his older brother in New Jersey. At the time, Danilo was completely shocked by the quality of flooring they were encountering in homes.
He couldn't believe how many people were living with sub-par floors, from gaps in the wood to dull, faded colors and uneven surfaces. Danilo and his brother worked tirelessly to repair the damage and leave customers with beautiful, durable floors.
A few years in, Danilo realized just how many people in Long Island were suffering the same flooring problems, and knew just how to solve them. Thus, Sycamore Flooring was born, with Danilo at its helm.
